Job Description
Cadrex is searching for a CNC Swiss Set-up Operator I who is responsible for setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines to produce precision components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Requirements
- Assist in the setup of CNC Swiss machines for production runs
- Learn to interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
- Assist in the operation of CNC Swiss machines to produce parts with tight tolerances and complex geometries
- Learn basic CNC programming skills
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on CNC Swiss machines
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as directed
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments
- Assist in troubleshooting machining issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
