Lead the CNC Department in achieving company goals of quality, production, safety, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed department and company goals, balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale, and oversee CNC department staff to verify best practices are being followed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment
- Provide work direction and guidance to other workers and act as supervisor in absence of Production Supervisor
- Perform Set Up duties in all areas of responsibility in absence of Set Up staff
- Answer questions and train new and current employees
- Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis
- Use computers as required
- Read Blueprints
- Be proficient in the use of CAD
- Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision
