Join CAE in Binghamton, NY, and Help Pilots Return Safely from Their Missions! As an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain advanced EW systems, with a strong focus on radar and related technologies, for high-fidelity flight and mission simulators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of professional experience in electronic warfare systems engineering, with a strong focus on radar systems (e.g., AESA, SAR, pulse-Doppler) and their integration into mission-critical or real-time applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for ensuring reliability and performance of radar and EW systems in high-stakes training environments.
- Expertise in radar technologies, including active and passive radar systems, radar signal processing, radar warning receivers, electronic countermeasures (ECM), electronic support measures (ESM), and signal intelligence (SIGINT), as well as familiarity with communication protocols relevant to EW and radar systems (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429).
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, for airworthiness, ARINC and RTCA standards are preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance prior to the start of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
