CAE Instructor Pilots are responsible for developing pilot confidence and skill through high-quality simulator and ground training. They lead training sessions, conduct pre- and post-flight briefings, and serve as subject matter experts across assigned aircraft platforms.
Requirements
- Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.
- Conduct professional, comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training when needed.
- Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.
- Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need).
