Procurement Project Manager

Procurement Project Manager responsible for ensuring effective estimation of costs, selection, negotiation and management of suppliers and subcontractors to meet program requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, Proposal Solutions Management or Contracts Management and a strong on-hand knowledge and experience in international purchasing practices, contracts and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• Cultivate potential supplier relationships
• Prepare, issue and follow-up precise Request for Quotations (RFQ) for large and complex subcontract programs
• Lead commercial evaluation of subcontractors' proposal with multi-disciplinary team
• Negotiate subcontract agreements within technical scope, schedule and budget allocation
• Monitor subcontractor's progress and performance
• Exercise state remedies, as appropriate, where subcontractor's performance is deficient
• Work closely with procurement team to develop and implement improvement opportunities
• Manage budget and provide reports to Senior Management
