Simulator Technician

Perform Simulator Technician duties during preliminary/critical design, Hardware/Software Integration (H.S.I.), and customer acceptance phases of a program. Provide technical/system support for assigned devices.

Requirements

• Provide lab maintenance/engineering support during program Hardware/Software Integration (HSI).
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot network/computer systems.
• Must be able to apply fundamental troubleshooting procedures in the maintenance of interfaces and peripheral equipment used with computers;
• Proficient working with Windows based computer systems.
• Assist manufacturing during tear down, pack, and ship activities.
• Support manufacturing during final assembly phase of site installations.
• Perform device power up and hardware checkout at both component and system level.
• Maintain operational device readiness during all testing activities.
• Provide training to other team members of the department.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Able to perform shift and weekend work when required.
