Job Description
The Structural Welder/Fitter will create frames for large structures, setting up equipment and welding and fitting either pipe, plate or structural steel. Must produce quality work with reasonable efficiency and learn all safety hazards related to the work.
Requirements
- Cut and drill structural metal pieces to size and place into position for welding
- Ensure welds are well executed and meet safety and industry standards
- Perform simple piping installations and repairs
- Assist other mechanics/craft worked as needed
