Calendly is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead teams that build and operate highly-available products at scale. The role involves partnering with product, design, data, security, and go-to-market stakeholders to define and deliver the roadmap for new Scheduling products.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers
- 5+ years of overall development experience, ideally using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Deep proficiency with distributed / data-oriented application development and SaaS
- Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects
- Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts
- Experience leading Agile / Scrum ceremonies
- Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America
