IP Lawyer

We are seeking a highly-skilled and commercially-aware IP Lawyer to lead the protection and management of the organisation's intellectual property assets in the cybersecurity and IT services domain.

Requirements

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IP strategy aligned with business goals
• Conduct IP clearance and due-diligence searches for trademarks, patents, designs, software modules and domains
• Manage prosecution and portfolio maintenance
• Oversee enforcement and dispute resolution
• Draft, review and negotiate IP-related provisions in commercial agreements
• Provide IP guidance and training to internal stakeholders
• Engage and manage external counsel, agents and service providers
• Monitor market developments, IP jurisprudence, regulatory changes in the UAE/GCC region and globally
