Millwright Mechanical Repairperson/ Welder

Millwright Mechanical Repairperson/Welder performs mechanical maintenance, repair, modifications, and installations on plant buildings, machinery, and structures. This role focuses on welding and cutting, ensuring proper fit and function of metal components and adherence to safety standards. They are responsible for the safe handling of equipment and materials while using provided tools and fixtures.

Requirements

• Perform all types of fabrication, construction, erection, installation, maintenance, repair, modification and rework of machinery, equipment (non-automotive), and structures.
• Diagnose failures, malfunctions, and other breakdowns.
• Fabricate frames, structures, and component parts.
• Performs layout.
• Check own work for proper dimensions, contour alignment and conformance to specifications.
• Perform duties of Dust Collector and Luber.
• Perform clean up duties in all areas of the facility.
• Conduct electrical and electronic maintenance and repair.
• Perform mobile equipment maintenance.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
