Requirements

• Assist and learn how to test and assemble valves by following manufacturers' assembly procedures, work orders, or other customer specifications.
• Repair pressure management valves to include tear down, sandblasting, tagging, sealing, and lapping.
• Follow procedures as required by ASME codes and National Board standards.
• Inspect, evaluate, and verify the accuracy of the assembled unit for conformance to standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare paperwork for repaired valves and ensure all details are accurately documented in Caltrol's software system.
• Clean corrosive and other deposits from serviceable parts using solvents, wire brushes, or a sandblaster.
• Regular maintenance and upkeep of shop equipment.
