The Housekeeping Technician assists in assuring that Camp For All facilities are clean and sanitized in a timely manner for Partner groups. The position requires effective communication with the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Coordinator, maintaining inventory supplies and housekeeping equipment, and training on the operation of all housekeeping machinery.
Requirements
- High School graduate or general education degree (GED) equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a housekeeper in a professional setting
- Specialized knowledge of Hazmat issues is expected or ability to learn
- Intermediate level of computer literacy is preferred, including the ability to read spreadsheets and prepare schedules, process data, understand basic inventory and accounting software and research products
- Experience using power washers, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbing machines, computers, trailers, washers and dryers, and floor shampoo machines
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50lbs, perform some strenuous physical activity
