CAN Community Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work full-time in a clinical setting, assisting with patient care and front desk duties, including phlebotomy. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving the needs of individuals impacted by HIV, Hepatitis C, STI's, and other infectious diseases.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) is required or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire
- CPR certification required
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check as required
