We are seeking a Legal Counsel, Litigation to join our Litigation team, which operates in our offices in London, Toronto and Winnipeg. You will play a key role in a dynamic legal team that works hard to provide our Canadian operating units with representation and practical and relevant advice on litigation and other legal issues.

Requirements

• A law degree and good standing in the Ontario Barreau, Manitoba Barreau, British Columbia Barreau or Alberta Barreau
• At least three years of relevant experience in civil litigation, including insurance litigation, within a law firm or company
• Knowledge of life insurance and health insurance products or the financial services sector
• Personal motivation and ability to work effectively individually or in a team
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and organize your work to meet deadlines
