Database Administrator - N.A. Service Delivery Group

As a Database Administrator (DBA) in the North American Service Delivery group, you will design, develop and deploy highly secure database solutions for national and international government customers.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet organizational requirements
• Collaborate with System Architects to plan DBMS capacity and hardware requirements
• Install and configure the production system locally in advance of shipment to customer site
• Train and support Developers and Local Service Providers (LSPs)
• Define database migration strategy and design replication topology and methodology
• Develop migration procedures/scripts and perform the migration
• Monitor database performance, identify issues, and optimize database performance
• Ensure database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures
• Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to protect data integrity
• Provide support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems
• Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, schemas, changes, processes, and procedures
