Job Description
Canadian Bank Note Company (CBN) is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its various business divisions across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Central America, Oceania, and Europe. The role will involve drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, identifying legal and business risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
- Able to obtain (in a timely manner) and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance
- A LLB or JD
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario (preferred) or another Canadian jurisdiction
- 2-5 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements
- Plain language contract drafting skills
- Negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365, Adobe Pro
