Job Description
We are seeking a talented Construction Site Supervisor to fill a full-time position with Canam. The role requires traveling throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the USA, and involves coordinating with plant coordinators, steel erectors, and project managers.
Requirements
- Construction trade journeyman certificate or diploma
- Three (3) to five (5) years of construction site supervision experience
- Ability to read structural shop drawings, layouts and erection drawings
- Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
- Autonomous results-oriented aptitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of construction schedules and Gantt charts
- Exceptional organizational abilities
- English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in computer system and software (Google Workspace)
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply innovative and effective supervision and management techniques
