Infotainment Software Test Engineer

Canoo is seeking an Infotainment Software Test Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and reviewing testing activities to ensure the correct operation of vehicle infotainment systems and driver apps. The role involves developing and executing test cases, specifying and planning installation of test equipment and facilities, and automating test cases and test environment.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Software engineering, Electrical/Electronic engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics
• Experience with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS)
• Good understanding of infotainment related use cases/user stores for vehicle app, navigation, comfort, Productivity, Entertainment from OEMs
• Experience with low-level and high-level programming languages (C/C++ and Python preferred)
• Experience working in Polarion and JIRA
• Capable of carrying out wiring/debugging HIL issues
• OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
• Experience with HIL tools such as Dspace/NI/Tracetronic ECUTEST/Vector CANoe
• SW testing certifications
