Propulsion System Controls Test Engineer

Canoo is seeking a Propulsion System Controls Test Engineer to plan, conduct, and review testing activities to ensure the correct operation of the propulsion controls, electric motors, and drive unit systems for Canoo's electric vehicles.

Requirements

• Plan, Develop and execute test cases for Propulsion Systems on HIL and in-vehicle
• Specify and plan installation of test equipment and facilities
• Develop scripts to automate the Hardware in the Loop test systems using python
• Verify all propulsion controls features and functions before software is deployed to customer vehicles
• Create Test to requirements coverage matrix for propulsion system controls features
• Automation of test cases and test environment to achieve "lights out" testing
• Support debugging of software issues at HIL bench and vehicle level
