Job Description
HealthPartners is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide health care services in a department-specific patient setting. This role involves primary and preventive healthcare, acute illness/injury care, and working closely with physicians. The NP/PA will be mentored by a physician and will be responsible for quality patient care and service. Responsibilities include case management, adherence to best practices, and potentially weekend/call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Family Medicine setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of an accredited master's in nursing OR graduate of an AMA-accredited physician assistant program
- Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the MN and WI Boards of Nursing OR Current license as a Physician Assistant by the MN and WI Boards of Medical Practice
- Current DEA License
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
- Current DEA License
