HealthPartners is seeking a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician to provide health care services in the clinic setting. This role involves primary and preventive healthcare, acute and chronic illness care, and may include prescriptive authority. The NP/PA will work with physicians and support continuity of care. Weekly and weekend hours may be required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Family Medicine setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of Masters of Science Degree in Nursing β OR - Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
- Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Boards of Nursing β OR Current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice
- Certification as a Specialized Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of the specialization β OR - Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Current DEA License.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
