Family Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician

The Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) role at the Somerset, Wisconsin clinic provides primary and preventive healthcare services. The role involves administering patient care, prescribing, interacting with patients, and working closely with physicians to ensure continuity of care. The NP/PA will also receive mentorship and support in clinical and patient care. This position focuses on providing quality care and serving the needs of the Stillwater Medical Group.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Family Medicine setting as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (or AMA accredited physician assistant program).
• Current Minnesota license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Nursing.
• Current license as a Physician Assistant by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of Medical Practice.
• Certification as a Specialized Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of the specialization (or Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
• Current DEA License.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Current licensing as a Registered Nurse.
