Weekend CT Technologist

Regions Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our weekend team. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters.

Requirements

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
• Completion of ARRT advanced Computed Tomography certification OR active employment with Regions Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist Specialist agreeing:
• To complete the Regions-sponsored basic CT training and documentation within six months of hire.
• To obtain ARRT CT advanced certification within 15 months of hire.
• One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
