DPS - HSD - Criminal Intelligence Analyst I - 6170

Perform complex criminal intelligence research and analysis work, analyzing data, writing reports, and identifying patterns of criminal activity. Must secure and maintain a secret level security clearance within one year of employment. Conduct research, analyze, evaluate, and correlate criminal intelligence information to determine source reliability, accuracy, and integrity. Process intelligence information using various analytical tools and integrate data to produce intelligence studies, special reports, and threat assessments.

Requirements

• Graduation from a standard senior high-school or equivalent is required
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience performing criminal intel analysis work in intelligence/military/government environment
• Knowledge of intelligence gathering methodologies; intelligence and crime analysis processes; law enforcement operations; and analytical functions as it is related to criminal law enforcement is required
