CapTech is seeking a Data Engineering Associate Consultant to work with clients to achieve what's possible through the power of technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex business problems and implementing cutting-edge data solutions.
Requirements
- Graduating in December 2025 - Spring/Summer 2026 with a bachelor’s or +1/accelerated masters* degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or similar discipline
- Prior work, internship or classroom experience in business concepts and processes with the chance to work with specific tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate AI concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability
- Familiarity with data ingestion and transformation fundamentals
- Understanding of data analysis and data quality principles
- Experience developing data solutions using relational database management systems such as: SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift, Amazon RDS, etc.
- Fundamental proficiency in: Python, SQL or another scripting language to extract and manipulate data
- Familiar with version control systems such as GIT
- Familiarity with fundamental AI/ML concepts
- Understanding of data preparation for use with AI models
