Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of various building systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general maintenance practices and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Occasionally assists with real-time troubleshooting of automation technology issues. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be a part of the overall site Asset Management team with a strong focus on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
Requirements
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems and equipment, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, generator systems, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faulty equipment and systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to replace parts, make adjustments, and resolve malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist Automation Technician with real-time troubleshooting and repair of automation and conveyance technology issues as needed, including identifying and resolving problems with automated systems and equipment
- Manage and complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders regarding maintenance issues, progress, and any potential concerns.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Champion innovation, simplification, and standardization of current solution offerings, operating procedures, methodologies, and processes.
