LPN Float

Join our team at Cardiovascular Institute of the South as an LPN Float. Provide licensed practical nursing care in support of cardiovascular physicians and medical staff. This position requires floating to clinics and positions within the Lafayette region as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Experience in patient triage, clinical documentation, and direct patient care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical workflows
• Ability to educate patients and families on procedures and care plans
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple clinic locations and roles within the Lafayette region
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Collaborative, flexible, and patient-focused approach to care
