PRN Medical Assistant (Certified preferred)

As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will support clinical staff and physicians in providing direct and indirect patient care, and perform both clinical and clerical duties.

Requirements

• Certified as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA through an approved agency (preferred)
• Active Basic Life Support certification
• Skilled in performing EKGs, venipuncture, monitor setup, and patient mobility assistance
• Proficient with EMR systems, documentation, and electronic communication across departments
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Dedicated to professional conduct, HIPAA compliance, and continuous quality improvement in patient care
