Provide comprehensive dental care services to patients within a community health center setting, delivering high quality, patient centered oral healthcare services and representing CAHC in the community by participating in CAHC sponsored outreach events.
Requirements
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments
- Diagnose oral diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide preventive services such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns and bridges
- Conduct extractions and other minor surgical procedures
- Measure and fit for removable dental appliances such as partials and dentures using traditional and digital methods
- Participate in school-based health and community outreach programs, as well as oral health education initiatives
- Provide required dental care as needed
- Refer patients to a specialist if needed
- Deliver culturally competent care to diverse and underserved populations
- Participate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health records (HER)
- Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives
