Requirements

• Consult with supervising physician when necessary
• Prescribe treatment for illnesses within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice
• Assess patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations
• Develop and implement treatment plans according to accepted standards of care
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
