Job Description
Facility is currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Cooks. Come join our team as a Cook in our state of the art skilled nursing facility.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as related to total patient care
- Ability to read, write and follow written and oral directions
- Ability to cooperate with supervisors, co-workers, and other departments
- Ability to follow recipes and menus, especially related to therapeutic diets
- Ability to work under pressure at peak periods
- Willingness and cooperation in following instructions as given
- Basic knowledge of quantity food preparation and cooking beneficial
- Ability to estimate relative quantities of food, per written recipes
