Job Description
Anesthesiologist Faculty Opportunities at Carilion Clinic & Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia. Opportunities include Obstetrical Care, Critical Care, and Core Faculty. The position includes an appointment at Virginia Tech in the tenure track at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor based on qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency
- ABA Board certification or Board eligibility
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations
