Job Description
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for all aspects of the Service Operations Department at one or more assigned locations, collaborating with Sales, Business Office, and Purchasing teams to create an exceptional associate and customer experience aligned with CarMax culture.
Requirements
- Ability to read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records
- Completion of CarMax-provided training in all areas of the Inventory, Cosmetic, and Production processes
- Ability to multi-task in a high energy, fast-paced work environment
- Effective communication skills across departments
- Ability to make independent judgments regarding critical business decisions
- Ability to identify business opportunities and suggest improvements
- 3+ years of experience as a Manager, retail management preferred
