Job Description
The Maintenance Manager is accountable for optimizing machinery and equipment uptime, transforming the maintenance culture, reducing maintenance expenses, and developing direct reports and organizational capability within the department.
Requirements
- High school diploma required, four-year college degree preferred
- Two or more years' experience as a maintenance manager, maintenance engineer, maintenance support specialist, or maintenance craftsperson in a heavy equipment manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of maintenance systems, programs, services, and technology
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to direct and supervise others
- Ability to objectively evaluate employees and their performance
- Ability to train and develop others
- Problem solving skills
- Project management skills
