Senior Metallurgist Technology

Senior Metallurgist Technology provides technical services to internal and external customers, making disposition of referred material, and demonstrating problem-solving skills in a Titanium manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• 4+ years relevant experience
• Specialized knowledge of metallurgical principles, standards, methods and practices
• Specialized knowledge of metallurgical and production equipment
• Awareness of newest and latest technologies available
• Understanding of the application of statistics, six sigma and BPI practices
• Problem Solving: Solves moderately complex problems
• Customer Focus: Interprets internal customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests
• Decision Making: Works independently to address a range of standard and non-standard situations
