Job Description
Carrier Process Equipment Group (CPEG) is seeking a Junior Designer to support the Hebeler-Howard Marten (HHM) division at their Port Colborne, Ontario location. The Designer will create 3D models and 2D drawings, prepare customer and manufacturing documentation, and interact with production personnel to address design issues.
Requirements
- 2yr associate degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and PDM software
- General knowledge of mechanical design & drawing, fluid mechanics, piping systems, tubing, hydraulic diagrams, welding techniques, manufacturing dimensioning and tolerances
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks
- Adherence to Workplace Safety instructions/procedures, including knowledge and understanding of Ontario Health & Safety Act, Section 28, Worker Responsibilities
