Controls Engineer

As a Controls Engineer at Carrier Global Corporation, you will design, document, and program building automation systems, and provide technical support during the sales process. You will work with project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and customer specifications, and uphold safety standards and ethical standards. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of experience in a BAS / HVAC controls engineer position, and experience working with BAS software and engineering tools.

Requirements

• Design complete building automation systems
• Prepare comprehensive submittal packages and final documentation
• Develop sequences of operation for building systems
• Program control algorithms and user interfaces
• Test programming and interfaces
• Perform functional testing of complex systems
• Set up and execute factory witness tests
• Provide technical support during the sales process
• Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities
• Create clear, concise RFIs and maintain proactive communication
