Carrier is seeking a Director, Category Management – Electronics to lead a team overseeing $0.7B of spend across Carrier CSA, developing and implementing a 5-year strategy for electronics categories, and managing vendor relationships to optimize affordability, availability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

• Manage a team of category managers responsible for multiple categories
• Direct the creation of short and long-term category strategy
• Establish a cross-functional network and foster collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
• Manage external relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiations and pricing changes
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of respective global supply markets and competitors
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to identify VA/VE opportunities and lead initiatives to drive cost-out and eliminate inefficiencies
• Manage a team of global category team leaders and require deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams
