Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a HVAC Controls Sales Specialist to join their growing team in Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the customer base, exceeding sales targets, and building long-term relationships with assigned accounts.
Requirements
- Prospecting in greenfield southwest Florida
- Promoting the Automated Logic Brand via ALFO not independent dealers
- Securing new logos for ALFO in south Florida
- Expanding ALC Florida's footprint
- Increasing ALC Florida's new orders
- Increasing ALC Florida's revenue
- Managing and growing assigned territory or group of accounts of product offerings
- Achieving annual sales and gross margin targets
- Developing long-term relationships and building partnerships with assigned accounts
- Performing take-offs and bid projects with the full spectrum of ALC offerings
- Driving specifications towards all ALC offerings with assigned consulting engineers
- Driving a preference for Automated Logic offerings with assigned owner accounts
- Applying technical knowledge and experience to write project specifications and proposals
- Utilizing sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts
- Generating a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer happiness
- Developing relationships and collaborating with other Sales Engineers to improve branch business results
- Acting as the customers' advocate in the interactions
- Attending and presenting at trade shows
- Participating in professional organizations
- Representing ALC as a leader in local industry associations
