Senior Controls Engineer

The company is looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to design, document, and program building automation systems in compliance with project plans and specifications. The successful candidate will also mentor less experienced Application Engineers and provide technical support during the sales process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in a BAS / HVAC controls engineer position
• 5+ years of experience working with BAS software and associated engineering tools
• 3+ years of experience working with third-party communication protocols used in building automation
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building systems, including HVAC control methodologies
• Ability to design and program all but the most complex building automation projects
• Proficient in creating clear, concise RFIs and communicating technical information effectively
• Experienced in mentoring team members and providing technical guidance
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Expertise in Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, and services
• Knowledge of enterprise IP networks, including layout and troubleshooting
