Job Description
Carter Machinery Company is hiring a Mechanic Technician in Fredericksburg, Virginia to diagnose problems, perform repairs, recondition and service heavy construction equipment and components in a shop environment. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.
Requirements
- Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
- Must be able to occasionally operate heavy machinery.
- Must be willing to work shifts as needed, including days, nights, and/or weekends to meet customer needs.
- Must be able to perform work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
