Mobile Crisis Team Clinician - Full-Time; 4161-629-A

Mobile Crisis Clinician provides support, services and treatments necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions and crisis prevention activities. The Mobile Crisis Clinician is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Provides timely evaluation, triage and access to acute mental health, developmental disability and/or substance abuse services.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must be licensed NYS LMSW or LHMC.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in providing crisis management services in the following settings: assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency department or other service providing 24/7 response in emergent or urgent situations.
• Must have two years of prior experience in the mental health field.
• Bilingual Spanish/English; Russian/English; Creole/English; Chinese/English; Korean/English speaking preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel throughout the five boroughs from site to site.
• Able to work flexible hours and days – including weekends/evenings/holidays according to needs of a 24/7 programs.
