OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

This Occupational Therapy Assistant position provides direct and indirect therapy services to patients in their homes, in accordance with Catholic Home Health Services policies and procedures. The role involves implementing vocational/education programs, designing and adapting therapeutic environments, and providing therapeutic treatment and instructions to patients. It is a visiting-based position with intermittent on-site work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Clear and Active Professional license to practice in the state of Florida
• CPR certification
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with a Medicare Certified Home Health agency preferred
• Knowledge of AHCA regulations, Medicare COP’s guidelines required
• Computer proficiency
• Reading, writing and understanding English
