Job Description
The CDC Foundation seeks a Chronic Disease Epidemiologist to support the Office of Statistics and Evaluation (OSE) within the Bureau of Community Health & Prevention (BCHAP) in the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Requirements
- MPH in epidemiology or biostatistics
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience performing epidemiologic work or work in a closely related field.
- Superior knowledge of epidemiology study design and statistical methodology
- Experience conducting data analyses using SAS and/or R
- Experience with program evaluation design and implementation
- Experience with a variety of statistical methods including multivariate linear and logistic regression
- Experience with public health program data collection, including designing data collection tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail and process oriented
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with chronic disease preferred
