Job Description
We are looking for a Prep Cook to join our team at Home Block Restaurant. As a Prep Cook, you will assist Chefs with prep needed for restaurant and event menus, keep walk-in fridges clean, and contribute to an exceptional culinary experience for all guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a kitchen with a daily changing, seasonal menu that utilizes the best of local ingredients and suppliers. Our restaurant is a fun and exciting working environment where you'll make friends for life.
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar standard of kitchen
- Solid preparation skills and basic cooking knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive work ethic and professional attitude
- Current 'Food Safe' certification (or equivalent)
