Work requires application of in-depth knowledge of professional standards and precedents in area of specialty. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of various factors. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and serious delays in overall schedules of a site and/or regional function.

Requirements

• Engineering Foundation Competencies
• Excellent customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills
• Excellent project management, presentation, database management and computer skills
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control methods and techniques
• Ability to design tests, evaluate results and recommend solutions to improve the processes associated with SMT and optical manufacturing
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and coordinate multiple, changing deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers
• Ability to effectively organize, manage and motivate team members from a wide variety of departments and with a diverse group of skill sets
