Job Description
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying automation technologies for various industries. You will work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide site-specific automation needs and manage suppliers on deliverables. The role requires a strong understanding of automation market trends, lean concepts, and project management principles.
Requirements
- Experience designing equipment up to turned key robotic/automated solutions with 2D and 3D CAD software tools
- Ability to estimate cost of different solutions
- Strong communicator with professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings
- Experience with integrating 3rd party automation solutions and developing own solutions
- Knowledge of automation systems and tools like robotic, vision systems, material handling, etc.
