Senior Staff Engineer (Hardware Design)

The Senior Staff Engineer, Electrical Design develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications, working in cross-functional teams with designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development.

Requirements

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex projects
• Participate in project planning and scheduling
• Global SME with comprehensive knowledge and industry recognition
• Provides technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
• Reviews and interprets customer specifications and may act as primary customer contact
• Analyzes trade-offs in complex systems and recommends solutions
• Develops deployment strategies and plans
• Leads the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinates global deployment efforts
• Designs, modifies and implements systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
• Liaisons with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
• Analyzes and interprets data and information
• Recommends modifications for systems
• Creates reports and documentation
