The Senior Staff Power Engineer develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications, designs and implements technical solutions for complex projects, and provides technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers.
Requirements
- Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex projects
- Participate in project planning and scheduling
- Global SME with comprehensive knowledge and industry recognition
- Provides technical leadership and direction to a global team of engineers
- Takes responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.)
- Reviews and interprets customer specifications and may act as primary customer contact
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
- Develop deployment strategies and plans
- Lead the deployment of strategic technologies/programs and coordinate global deployment efforts
- May manage relationships with key vendors/partners
- Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
- Solve complex problems
- Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams
- Analyse and interpret data and information
- Recommend modifications for systems
- Create reports and documentation
- May be a recognised expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas
