Senior Operations Engineer

The Senior Operations Engineer for Lloydminster Thermal and Conventional Heavy Oil (LTCHO) is responsible for developing and executing asset strategies that maximize value while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The position requires strong business acumen to complement a diverse technical skillset in applying corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to resolve operational challenges and optimize asset and financial performance.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with APEGA and/or APEGS
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in operations, facility, and production engineering
• Strong knowledge and application of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, CSA Z662)
• Solid understanding of upstream oil and gas operations and facility design
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, sound decisions across diverse technical and business challenges
